Marketing doesn't only involve selling and promotion. It encompasses research and development of appropriate products, monitoring consumer demand, price policy, communication, and customer service. Today’s marketing professionals must be able to assess current business trends to help their companies into the most favorable positions and to speak directly to their customers through traditional advertising, digital marketing, and social media.

With this degree you will be equipped with skills that meet the demands of business including developing communication and engagement skills, building networks, adopting a commercial mindset, mastering critical thinking and problem solving, and developing industry knowledge by creating sustainable marketing strategies for real-world businesses. The course includes foundation subjects in the areas of marketing fundamentals, accounting for decision-making, economics, data analysis, customer experience, management, and personal and professional skills.

These subjects are then complemented by specialist topics in advertising, promotions and mobile marketing, social media marketing, and digital analytics for marketing. The Bachelor of Business (Majoring in Marketing for the Digital Age) offers choice and flexibility, with the option to combine Marketing with a second major in International Business, Management, Hospitality, and Tourism Management. You have the option to combine any two fields of interest from a diverse range of study areas, and you can change your choices at any time in your first year.


Entry to the University Programme is open for students who have accomplished the SCQF Levels 7 & 8 or the International Graduate Programme at ISDC Academy.
Note: The Undergraduate Diploma comprises the ISDC International Certificate in Business and the ISDC International Specialised Diploma in Business qualifications which have been credit rated by the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) of Scotland at Levels 7 & 8 respectively on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) with 120 allocated SCQF credits at each level. Both qualifications enable students to progress to relevant undergraduate programmes of study in compliance with the entry requirements of individual universities in the UK with Credit Exemptions. In addition, both qualifications are at Level 5 of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).
