Queen Margaret University was founded in the year 1875 and is driven by the aim of imparting quality education to its students. Earlier, it was established as the Edinburgh School of Cookery by its founders Christian Guthrie Wright and Louisa Stevenson. It is in the year 1999, the institution began to be recognized as Queen Margaret University. Of late, the vision of the university is to facilitate an experience of learning that can help students achieve their individual goals and enable them to contribute to society well.
